Dark forces abound in Terraria's many domains, but bosses rule all. Bosses don't stack in the exact order you'll hit them, so we've ranked all of Terraria's bosses by difficulty so you can see how your snipers stack up.
The developers did a great job making the King Slime starting boss the easiest and the Moon Lord final boss at the end the hardest, but each of the 19 main bosses in Terraria has that. the time and skills to complicate an easy classification.
That's why we've made every effort to provide all the arguments for our rankings, complete with different levels and tips on how to find and deal with bosses once you hit them.

19. King Slime
It will randomly appear and you may never see it, but Slime King can be banned in several ways. Kill 150 slimes in a slime rain or create a slime crown. Fighting King Slime isn't too difficult as he is relatively slow and most of his attacks can be easily dodged.
Even on the highest difficulties, he's not very dangerous, especially if you can keep him at bay. He himself has no ranged attacks and his movements are mostly limited to the ground.. King Slime is also quickly exploited with fire damage, one of the most common ones you'll encounter early on.
King Slime's biggest challenges come with all the little slimes it spawns. He can also teleport and surprise players when he jumps exceptionally high. But even on the greatest difficulties, he is faced with ropes on him and jumping between them.
You can run over him at a certain height and completely ignore his damage.This puts him in the relatively free category and probably the easiest boss in the game.
18. Golem
The final jungle temple boss can only be found inside said temple. He can also only be defeated after you defeat Plantera, although there are exploits to fight him first. To fight him, you must use a Lizard Power Cell on the Lizard Altar.
As long as you have an energy cell in your inventory, you can use your door opening command on the altar to gain access. Defeating the golem will cause the cultist to spawn at the dungeon entrance on all updated platforms.
Despite being found relatively late in the game, the Golem boss is one of the easiest you'll encounter. His attacks are easy to dodge and are instead aimed at the ground, much like King Slime. He has a really hard time hitting players who can get in and out at a reasonable speed.
Finally, he cannot move through blocks and is very slow.You must be careful, as his attacks increase as the fight lasts and he must be fought in a fairly closed area.. His most challenging attack comes when he rips off his head and moves through walls while rapidly shooting the player.
17. Mad Cultist
As said, this boss appears at the entrance to the dungeon after you defeat the Golem. The four cultists will appear in front of the door. They must have destroyed the entrance to your dungeon. This boss isn't very difficult due to his low health and how vulnerable he becomes when summoning his decoys.
It is also very easy to identify where the true cultist is. However, due to its small size, it can be difficult to hit and fills the battlefield with hundreds of hard-to-deflect projectiles.You also have to be careful that he becomes more dangerous every time you hit a lure. If you fight this boss, you must be very strong to get him in trouble.
16. Eater of Worlds
The Eater of Worlds is the second boss you don't have to fight. However, if you're looking for a fight, there are two ways to spawn it. It is summoned to Corruption for every three Shadow Orbs you break with a Hammer or Explosives.
You can also spawn it by crafting Worm Food at a Demon Altar by combining 30 Vile Powder and 15 Rotten Chunks.When fighting the Eater of Worlds, you want to use piercing attacks and aim for the head. Its head has low health and will take a short break if a charge is destroyed.
He also has relatively low damage, which helps put him at this level. Some classes, such as melee fighters, can take him on. You do need to be careful with his ranged attack, though, and he's well protected from burst damage.
Its deadliest move is the head strike, and perhaps the most challenging part of the fight is that individual segments will attack you once you start to tear them apart.For higher difficulties, it can be helpful to use an up and down dodge pattern.
15. Hirschklops
Deerclops can be summoned in the snow biome with theHirschsacheArticle. It is made of3 Flinx Fur, 5 Demonite Ore or Crimtan Ore and a Lens. You can also find him during a midnight blizzard if you have 9 defense or 200 health.
He has some ice-based attacks to watch out for. He smashes the ground and sends a wave of ice spikes at you, or throws ice spikes at you from afar. Every now and then he roars and if you get caught in the beam you will get aslow debuff.
Staying away from him or coming face to face with him is not an option as he will summonshadow handsto beat your smart self. When you are within 30 squares of it, it becomes immune to all attacks.
Make sure you have 300+ health when fighting him. Clear a flat area to fight him, and building two layers of platforms above him will provide enough distance to take on this one-eyed freak. (no more than 30 pieces, as you can't fight him if he's immune).
You can use50 to 60 explosive rabbitsin a box to set a trap for Deerclops before summoning. Once generated, the trap's damage can potentially kill him instantly.
14. Brain of Cthulu
The Crimson variant of Eater of Worlds, Brains of Cthulhu is also a boss you can skip if you don't want to fight him. However, it has many useful drops and can be spawned in the Crimson world by breaking Crimson Hearts. As before, every third heart will spawn it.
You can also summon the Brain by combining 30 Vicious Dust and 15 Vortex to make a Bloody Pimple on a Crimson Altar. This guy and his minions will hunt you down in combat, but with circular motions and a little patience, it's relatively easy.
Your creepers are vulnerable to piercing attacks and during your second phase the brain is too weak to fight back. Her vines also drop hearts at high speed, which helps, although they can often overwhelm the player as well.
This cerebral boss and his creepers use a lot of debuffs, and the second phase is sometimes difficult to deal with. This boss is about to advance to the next level.
13. Eye of Cthulu
You can often find this boss before the King Slime, but you will definitely see him because he will come and find you. After reaching 200 health, there is a 1 in 3 chance that he will chase you every night.
He can also be manually summoned with a suspicious eye or created with five lenses on a demonic altar.As for the Eye of Cthulhu fight, its first phase is easy to dodge, and the many minions that follow it are very weak. However, these minions can be very annoying and he can fly.
It flies at a decently fast speed, especially on the most formidable difficulties, has powerful jumps, and can even become somewhat forgettable when loading into its third stage.Tactics for defeating this boss are relatively simple, as you'll want to get away quickly if you can.
As long as you have clear space to run away in a straight line and ranged damage to hit the boss while moving, the Eye of Cthulhu can be removed quickly. Even if he starts moving diagonally, dodging isn't a problem as long as you're moving at a reasonable pace.
12. Slime Queen
One of the two newest bosses added to the game. This boss appears with a Jell-O Crystal in the Sanctum and is a completely optional Hard Mode encounter. The crystal is in the Underground Hallow.
This boss's first form is quite similar to the King Slime fight, but it becomes much more difficult in its second phase.The Slime Queen is equipped with two wings, making her much harder to avoid than her more earthy counterpart.
11. Queen Bee
This boss is found by destroying the larva that you can find in the beehives in the Underground Jungle region. The Queen Bee must be summoned in the jungle biome.
She can also be summoned with the item Abeemination, which is crafted from 5 Honey Blocks crafted with 1 Stinger, 5 Hive Blocks, and 1 Bottled Honey (3DS players have additional rules here).
If you fight this boss, you can counter its deadly attacks with a Bezoar. Her allied mini bees are also very weak and she is static when spawning the bees.However, the bees are a big nuisance, and the queen bee herself uses quick attacks when she starts attacking and shooting with her stingers.
It can also be dangerous, as accidentally breaking the larva can cause it to spawn and provide intense surprise moments.This boss is not very difficult to take care of, as he can fight on several levels, but his speed and his strength when you meet him will help you overcome this difficulty level.If you don't prepare enough, this bee can also level up.
10. Skeleton
You can only summon and fight this boss at night, and you're pretty much guaranteed to fight as you go. Requires you to defeat him to enter the dungeon. You can do this by cursing the older man at the dungeon entrance.
Alternatively, it can be summoned with the Clothier Voodoo Doll. This is a rare drop you find after defeating him, which allows you to kill the Clothier NPC and fight again.When it comes to fighting the mighty Skeletron, he's not too complicated, but he's a lot more vital than most of the bosses you've encountered so far, with the exception of Queen Bee.
His skull attack is relatively easy to dodge, and he's pretty slow once he starts spinning. He's also fragile to bee weapons, which you've probably already encountered.
However, you have to watch out for its rotating attack, as it can be very deadly if you get caught by it.Inflicts slows and debuffs and is very dangerous when both hands are raised. You'll also want to fight him at night, when he becomes the Dungeon Guardian at dawn.
9. Skeleton Prime
You can force this boss to spawn with the Mechanical Skull summoning item. It is also a rare drop found by enemies. To craft the Mechanical Skull, you must collect 30 Bones, 5 Iron Ingots or Light Ingots, and 3 Souls of Night and 3 Souls of Light. You can craft it in your Mithril or Talcam Anvil.
This boss is similar to the first time you fought him, except now he has four arms instead of two.Although he's one of the first bosses, you can use the combination of Daedalus Storm Bow and Holy Arrows to make it easier and his attacks are pretty easy to dodge.
Killing his Prime Laser makes it quite easy, and standing on platforms away from the blocks will help take down the Prime Cannon. This boss has high health and must be fought at night, as he becomes the Dungeon Guardian at dawn.He also has the same deadly Spinning Head attack to watch out for, but dealing with the five different parts one at a time will eventually get him comfortable.
8. The Destroyer
This boss's summon item is called a Mechanical Worm and can be found as a rare drop from enemies.It is also possible to craft the Worm Mechanic using 6 Rotten Chunks or 6 Vertebrae plus 5 Iron or Lead Ingots plus Souls of the Night with Mithril or Talc Anvil.
A more challenging version of the Eater of Worlds boss, the Destroyer suffers from the combination of Storm Bow and Holy Arrows.He spawns in a confined area, making it very easy to shoot him and deal a lot of damage.
You should aim for the head, as again it has less defense than the body. Watch out for his dangerous head attack and the many pesky probes he spawns. This boss tends to be more challenging than the other version due to the high damage its probes do.
7. The twins
These guys can be spawned with the Mechanical Eye summon item, which also becomes a rare drop once you hit hard mode. If you're trying to craft the Clockwork Eye, you'll need your Mithril or Talcum Anvil, along with 3 Lenses, 5 Iron or Lead Ingots, and 6 Light Souls.
There is a lot of debate about how difficult this boss is to fight. As long as you tolerate and try to defeat the twins 1 on 1, the fight will be much more enjoyable.However, we gave it a higher difficulty level because fighting this boss can be like fighting two bosses at once, especially if you screw up and get them on your side.
The first stage of this boss is relatively easy, but the second stage can be quite deadly.They have high damage output, and the combination of melee and range they offer can be overwhelming at times, especially on higher difficulties.
6. Wall of Flesh
The final boss you'll face before Hard Mode is in the Underworld biome. You must throw a Guide Voodoo Doll into the lava for it to appear.You can get them by killing the flying demons that carry voodoo dolls on their legs.
Your NPC guide must be alive for the voodoo doll to activate. He can be spawned infinitely, and defeating him will put your world on Hard mode. Be careful when killing the demons, because you can accidentally spawn them.
Fighting this boss can be a little challenging. It's pretty slow at first, and aiming for the eyes has more impact than hitting the mouth. Using your bee weapons also helps here.
As the fight progresses, his damage will increase and his speed will increase and he will have many different attacks to throw at you, so you should keep your distance as much as possible.
It doesn't help reaching him from long distances and constantly spawns minions to distract him. You must take extra care not to get grabbed and dragged.
5. Plantar
You don't have access to a fight with Plantera until you defeat each of the previous three mechanical bosses. Once you've done that, you can find Plantera by going to the Underground Jungle biome and finding one of their Pink Onions in the Underground Jungle.
They will slowly grow one by one after defeating the mechanical bosses. Eventually, there will be many, and defeating Plantera grants access to many new things, such as equipment, NPCs, and more formidable enemies.Corruption and Hallow will also spread more slowly. Plantera has no summoning items.
This boss deserves its level as it is one of the most challenging bosses you will face in the game. Your best method of dealing with this boss is to move him in a circular motion.It's also relatively slow, especially in its first phase, while its second phase is somewhat vulnerable to the aforementioned Storm Bow and Holy Arrows combo.
You have to beware of the high speed and high variance of the attacks, as he uses several different methods to attack you. Dodging the annoying Thorn Orbs while keeping an eye out for Plantera's tentacles makes this fight quite tricky. You also have to be careful not to stray too far into the jungle, as this boss will get angry and attack faster.
4. Herzog Fishron
This boss can be fought at any time once you switch to hard mode. He's only here because that's usually when you want to fight him.Duke Fishron can be spawned at any time by throwing a fishing rod into the sea with a truffle worm as bait.
They can be found in the Underground Mushroom biome, and you'll need a Bug Net to get them. They can be difficult to see and they are also difficult to recognize. As long as you have the worm in your inventory, this optional boss will appear when you throw your staff.
When fighting this boss, he will fight using vertical movements and will stop moving when changing form or using special abilities.However, he is tough as his attacks increase as the fight progresses and he has very high damage output.
In his third phase, he becomes almost unforgettable, filling the battlefield with many Sharkrons and Sharknados. You should also watch out for him getting angry if you stray too far from the ocean.
3. Mechdusa
The Mechdusa is a hidden boss and a fusion ofthree chief mechanicnamely the twins, The Destroyer and Skeletron Prime. To summon this boss, you need to go through some complex steps.
You needthe "Mechanical Eye", "Mechanical Skull" and "Mechanical Worm" items on you. Then create a new world with this seed; "getfixedboi“. To useein Mithril-Amboss oder Orichalcum-Ambossto combine and create the previous three elementsocram razor. Use this item to summon the boss.
It has all the attacks of the above mechanical bosses and has thehighest HP of any boss in the game. You're essentially fighting all three bosses at once, and you'll need to eliminate each one slowly while being careful of the oncoming barrage of attacks.
If you defeat him, you will be rewarded by the respective boss and also by the treasure.waffle maker, a new weapon introduced in update 1.4.4.
2. Empress of Light
The other newcomer is one of the most challenging bosses the game has ever known. This optional post-Plantera boss can be defeated by killing a Prismatic Lacewing in the Hallow biome.They spawn at night between 19:30 and 00:00. You'll want to move as quickly as possible for this fight, as the Empress has an extensive range of attacks that will test her concentration.
